This site is dedicated to the memory of Tony Halliday.

Our wonderful dear beloved Tony sadly passed away due to a fatal accident on the afternoon of Saturday 24th May 2014 whilst on a 4 day Motorcycling holiday with 17 other biker friends in the Black Forest of Germany. Tony was larger than life itself with so much passion for the outdoors and a variety of sporting interests which included Cycling, Windsurfing, Go-Karting and general fitness through attending the gym. He was a great skier and snowboarder in past years and found sport and fitness a great challenge that he would do to his full potential. Being at the back of the group was not his style. If he did anything he did it well and read up on all aspects of the sport so he could be at the top of his game. He raced Motorbikes a few years ago and recently won best Rookie when he took up Karting at Beyford Meadows at Sittingbourne. He was a business man running two lighting companies along with his long term partner Joy McAllister and they had many friends. He loved colourful clothes and was not shy to get out on the dance floor. He did not smoke and gave up drinking to be more fitter and for a 54 year old he certainly could cycle past the lads half his age. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. It was not his time to go as there were so many plans he had made for the future but life is cruel and one of the charities he cared for were the Royal National Lifeboat Institution who came to his rescue whilst out windsurfing at Whitstable in Kent some twenty odd years ago when the wind took him out onto the Shipping Lane and he was rescued by the RNLI.
